Hi, my name is Jennifer. I am a qualified Reiki Teacher Master and I have been practicing Usui Reiki for 25 years. I first discovered Reiki on holiday in Mauritius. I booked a treatment at the hotel's therapy centre, as I was curious about Reiki. After the treatment the practitioner told me I should learn Reiki, I was a bit sceptical at first, but I trust in the universe, so when he offered to teach me Reiki 1 and he didn't want any money, I thought why not? I went to his house, and we had an amazing day together. At the end of the day,he said to me that I had to become a Reiki master. I was unsure what that might involve and due to French bring his first language I couldn't find out more about what he meant but when I got home, I did some research and found a wonderful teacher with a fantastic lineage.  I retook my Reiki 1, I wanted to be taught all the levels by the same teacher, it was a fabulous day, and I knew I had found my calling. I quickly took my Reiki 2 and after setting up my practice I was very keen to get my Masters completed. I didn't have the money though, but I knew if it was meant to be I would find a way. Shortly afterwards I had a client who enquired about learning Reiki and when I explained that I was waiting to study my masters they offered to pay for it, provided I would teach them once I was qualified, I jumped at the chance and have never looked back. I very much enjoy treating people, watching them heal and hearing about the amazing experiences they have during treatments, but I really love teaching people as it gives them the skills they need to heal themselves and that is the most powerful gift I can offer.
